With nearly 15 years of combined business ownership, consulting, management, and administrative experience, I have realized that the most significant business growth is cultivated through collaboration and change.

For most of us, embracing change is not an innate characteristic, but my own life experience led me down a path to not only embrace change but make it part of who I am. My acceptance of change began with a move across the country at the formative age of 11. From attending college in Florida to moving around the Midwest to further my career, I have learned that the value of having diverse experiences and developing relationships will only lead to growth and adaptation.

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Marketing from Saint Leo University, located just outside of Tampa, FL. I attended Saint Leo as a student-athlete and was awarded an academic scholarship. My senior year of college, I took my first full-time position as the office manager of a local furniture store. Upon graduation in 2008, I was hired by one of the largest privately-owned corporations as a management trainee. 9 promotions, 5 states, and 7 years later, I left my position as an Area Manager and Market Manager to follow a career in consulting.

I began working for The Williams Group, a consulting firm based in Lincoln, NE in 2014. My role was to co-manage the start-up process for entrepreneur optometrists. From the birth of their idea to their first year of service, I provided support and knowledge in all core areas of their business. Going through the co-management process of opening a business in a female-dominated industry empowered me to take a leap of faith. I left the firm on May 13, 2016.

I have been collaborating to open several new businesses and providing business consulting and coaching services ever since.

Experience is defined by practical contact with facts or events and when defined that way, being a small business owner for the last four years, in addition to several years at a Fortune 500 firm, gives me nothing short of massive “on the ground” experience.

After graduating from Union College with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a double major in marketing and finance, I started my career straight out of college with one of the largest privately-owned companies and earned my way through the ranks of management, gaining experience in sales, marketing, growth, development, and customer service along the way. Although I was playing with house money, 5 promotions over four years of experience had me primed and ready to change, adapt, and evolve into my next chapter. I left my career and moved on to the ever-growing world of technology.

I worked for almost three years with a small technology firm that soon became a household name. I watched and helped lead a group to start from the ground up in a competitive field, taking care of the growing demands of clients as a technology consultant. Being adaptable in the world of tech is not only asked, but required. That experience and the added experience of managing my own division within a large corporation led me to where I am today.

I took the leap of faith 4 years ago to forge my own path and become a small business owner in a male dominating space. Since that move, I’ve helped countless other people do the same thing I did… use their own practical experience that spans several different industries, to create something for themselves. I forward to doing the same for you.

Project Manager

Incredible attention to detail, always observing and finding what works, noticing what doesn’t, and implementing processes to improve efficiencies, my 15+ years in the workforce have armed me to be the administrative and project management expert I am today.

I attended college at The University of Nebraska, Lincoln, after which, I gained on-the-job experience in many different industries, from sales to technology to social services to where I seem to have landed: Consulting.

In 2013, I joined the Williams Group where I was responsible for multi-client bookkeeping and payroll for small business owners. This role gave me a comprehensive understanding of a company’s financial health, red flags to watch out for, and benchmarks to celebrate.

In 2016, I left that role to join a startup consulting company as the ‘right hand’ to ownership. I wore many hats, and I was instrumental in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes. I developed the Employee Handbook, oversaw schedules and calendars, managed all client and vendor accounts, planned for and executed all social media posts and marketing efforts, planned events – internal and external, designed deliverables and tools for client use and success, and more. Then and now, I am a firm believer in streamlined processes. You can always find me with a ‘to-do’ list at my side, utilizing templates and checklists for consistent results and efficient completion of tasks.

It brings me incredible satisfaction and pride to have a hand in walking alongside business owners while they reach their goals and find success as they define it. I look forward to furthering my experience with entrepreneurs at Reach!
